[MTT37-11] An example of the laboratory to perform the frontier studies in geochemistry in 1980s
★Invited Papers
Keywords:Akimasa Masuda
Prof. Akimasa Masuda worked as a professor of Analytical Chemistry Laboratory at the Department of Chemistry, University of Tokyo, for 11 years from May 1981 to March 1992. In his laboratory, five thermal ionization mass spectrometers (TIMS), one inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS), one stable isotopic ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS), one electron probe micro-analyzer (EPMA), and one ion micro-probe analyzer (IMA) were installed and used efficiently for isotopic studies in cosmo- and geochemical fields.
In this talk, I will present Prof. Masuda's intenstive efforts to run the laboratory.
