iLEAPS (Integrated Land Ecosystem - Atmosphere Processes Study) acts as a communication hub and coordinator of world-wide scientific research in the field of ecosystem-atmosphere exchanges. iLEAPS science underpins three specific goals that are part of the Future Earth challenges, those are 1) Mitigation of climate change, 2) Environmental response to changes in climate and air quality, and 3) Secure and improve human health and wellbeing in rural and urban areas. In this presentation, we present international research activities of iLEAPS as well as those of Japanese (iLEAPS-Japan). Discussions on the future visions related to the Future Earth challenges mentioned above are highly welcome.
