Geoscience unions originally started from classical several categories, namely, solid earth, atmosphere, land and ocean water, upper atmosphere and space, and plant. However, in AGU or EGU, adding to those conventional fields, many new science targets or methodologies are becoming important player in the union. Especially, biology including agriculture and natural hazard became one of the largest communities. On the other hand, such movement in JpGU is going at very slow speed. Here we discuss the strategy about this matter.
