[M-IS07] Aqua planetology

convener:Yasuhito Sekine(Earth-Life Science Insitute, Tokyo Institute of Technology), Hidenori Genda(Earth-Life Science Institute, Tokyo Institute of Technology), Keisuke Fukushi(Institute of Nature & Environmental Technology, Kanazawa University), Tomohiro Usui(Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency)

This proposed session covers a wide range of topics related to chemical reactions and dynamics involving water on planetary bodies; for instance, water-rock-organics interactions within planetesimals, distribution of water in the early Solar system, hydrological and biogeochemical processes on Earth and terrestrial planets, geochemical cycles, redox-pH gradients, and habitability on early Mars and icy moons, and theory to understand how to build habitable aquaplanets.
