[G03-08] What about the Kazusa Group as a place for the first field survey?
Keywords:Place for first field survey, Kazusa Group, Definition of alternation of sand and mud, Lower - Middle Pleistocene Boundary, Education that does not teach
My graduation research was the first fieldwork I was given by my supervisor as saying only walk.So without reading any of the existing literature,I just walked around and started doing something very dangerous, telling me what to find.Although it took two months,I created a theory that quantified the alternation of sand and mud from my own senses and redefined the Kokumoto Formation of the Kazusa Group as follows.Kokumoto Formation is sorted four member by facies, is upper-most member(sandy alternation),upper member(mussive mud),middle member(sandy alternation),and lower member(mussive mud). The Matsuyama/Brunhes chron Boundary as the Lower-Middle Pleistocene Boundary is attracted by this boundary is drawn in the Byk-zone located near the base of the upper member of the Kokumoto Formation. Byk-zone was distributed from the Nuda of Kimitsu City to the Koshikiya River(Koshikiya). However, the area around the survey area from early summer to autumn is not recommended because it is gathered by great amount of leech during a short period of time and is covered with blood. This method is not very efficient. However, famous geologists at home and abroad laughed and praised,"You got a good education!"
