[HCG34-P08] The latest state of community formation through online/offline interaction

The author reported an arising online community to exchange GIS technical information based on social media in the past conference in 2011. This kind of community formation, which had begun at the time, continues to connect new people to create value in society in a new way. In this presentation, I will introduce the latest situation of such community formation with examples around the author. In particular, the author reports the impact of new trends in this field, such as the relay of conferences which become easier with the spread of smartphones and LTE, and a social networking service with real names such as Facebook.
