Landscape assessments are being developed in a variety of areas, including geography, landscape architecture, nature conservation, and other areas. Landscape appreciation is a complex and sophisticated psychological phenomenon. Among researchers, what is the phenomenon of "landscape", how people experience it physiologically and mentally, why human attributes influence its perception, why it is. There is no consensus on how to recognize it. The concept of landscape appreciation has not yet been clearly defined, and there is a lack of consensus on evaluation methods, factors that determine landscape preferences, steps of appreciation, and so on. In this session, we will discuss the research results of landscape evaluation in various fields such as geography, topography, landscape planning, architecture, engineering, social science, environmental psychology, meteorology, and phenology.
