[M-IS16] Paleoclimatology and paleoceanography

Fri. Jun 4, 2021 1:45 PM - 3:15 PM Ch.26 (Zoom Room 26)

convener:Yusuke Okazaki(Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Graduate School of Science, Kyushu University), Hitoshi Hasegawa(Faculty of Science and Technology, Kochi University), Atsuko Yamazaki(Faculty of Science, Kyushu University), Akitomo Yamamoto(Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and TechnologyAtmosphere and Ocean Research Institute), Chairperson:Atsuko Yamazaki(Faculty of Science, Kyushu University)

Past environmental changes and events at interannual to tectonic timescale toward an understanding of Earth climate system by an integration of terrestrial and marine proxy studies and numerical modeling will be discussed. At JpGU2021, a series of presentations on "high-resolution" paleo data and model studies will be held. We welcome a variety of paleo-environmental studies from a wide range of background. We hope that this session will provide an opportunity to promote communication between participants from multidisciplinary field.
