[AOS10-P03] Quantification of Submerged Aquatic Vegetation in Lake Biwa using GCOM-C
キーワード:リモートセンシング、沈水植物
We performed the application of satellite remote sensing data to quantify submerged aquatic vegetation in Lake Biwa. The previous study (Shweta et al. 2017) focuses primarily on the South Basin featuring the satellite data obtained by Landsat 7. Our current survey conducted the estimation of submerged height of species using GCOM-C data and calibration data from Lake Biwa. GCOM-C SGLI-VNR sensor provides products with different wavelengths of Visual Ray and NIR with nine different wavelengths. In this study, we only use used sensors VN03, VN04, VN06, and VN07. There are overlapping wavelengths between the estimation of Chlorophyll-a concentration in the water column and the estimation of SAV height. We have to consider the difference between the North and South basin of Lake Biwa, the former with deep and mesotrophic basin and the latter with shallow and eutrophic basin. In this study, the classification of two basins was accomplished using VN07. We will make further applications in order to improve the results and apply to the different basin.
