[E-11-24] Uncover the cryptic nitrogen flows in the terrestrial ecosystems

Nitrogen fluxes in the natural ecosystems are difficult to study partly due to the high variety of the nitrogen compounds and to their low concentrations maintained by the biological nitrogen use. In this lecture, I introduce some case studies elucidating the cryptic nitrogen flows driven by the microbes and plants in the terrestrial ecosystems with the help of stable isotope techniques.
