According to the GIGA school plan, the infrastructure of each person's terminal and communication environment is about to be developed in the classroom. Since large-scale time and space scales are handled in the earth science fields of elementary, junior high and high schools, it is estimated from the results of the national academic ability survey that there is difficulty in learning due to the concept of space. In addition, many geological events have vast time and space scales, and unlike physics, chemistry, and biology, it is often difficult to conduct experiments in the classroom.
There are many apps on PCs and tablets that are excellent at grasping large-scale time and space scales (Google Map, Geographical Survey Map, etc.), and are compatible with earth science education. In addition, by using AR teaching materials, it is possible to capture the geological events in the field in a pseudo manner. In this presentation, we plan to report on the development of teaching materials and lesson practice using PCs and tablets for students.
