[HCG25-05] How the Relationship between Society and Researchers Changes after the COVID-19 Disaster considering Rapid Spread of Online Technology

The COVID-19 disaster, which began in 2020, has brought about a rapid global shift to the online, and it has become common for researchers to conduct lectures, academic conferences, and various meetings online via Zoom or YouTube. On the other hand, face-to-face meetings and on-site surveys are restricted, and the skill sets required of researchers in terms of external relations have changed dramatically. On the positive side, many researchers have developed online communication skills, allowing them to disseminate information more actively than ever before. In this talk, I will review such examples and discuss how researchers should interact with a society. In particular, based on the author's own online experiences, the possibility of such information dissemination will be discussed.
