[HDS10-06] Creating a Landslide risk map of the Nachi River basin
Keywords:Landslide risk map, Shallow Landslide, Degree of Mountain Denudation, Granodiorite, Mudstone, Geologic Boundary
Due to the 2011 Kii Peninsula flood, Landslides occurred frequently in the Nachi River basin in Wakayama Prefecture, and the debris flow that accompanied it caused 28 deaths, missing persons, and many casualties. Most of the slope failures were Shallow Landslides. In the Nachi River basin, private houses are concentrated along the Nachi River, and it has been reported that debris flows caused by Landslides have caused casualties in the past during heavy rains. Therefore, in this study, we attempted to create a Landslide risk map based on the relationship between the topographical and geological classification and the Landslide area ratio in 2011.
