Keywords:Economic Development, Environmental Improvement, Natural Resource, Inner Mongolia, China

In this study, we reconstruct the case study on the mechanism of desertification in Inner Mongolia as one story. On that basis, I would like to clarify that economic development and environmental improvement in Inner Mongolia are in a trade-off relationship. On that basis, I would like to examine whether there is a trade-off between economic development and environmental improvement in Inner Mongolia. And I would like to argue that the current environmental policy of China is the spatial transfer of environmental pollution on a global scale.
