4:45 PM - 5:00 PM

[MAG37-06] Discussion on how the CTBT IMS contributes to Earth and environmental sciences

Nurcan Meral Ozel1, *Hiroyuki Matsumoto2, Dirk Metz2, Yosuke Naoi3 (1.Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, 2.Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, 3.Japan Atomic Energy Agency)

Following the all presentations, the conveners provide a discussion time on various scopes related to the CTBT International Monitoring System from the point of view of scientific and technological aspects. We welcome multi-disciplinary discussions to deepen understanding of the Earth as well as suggestions to achieve sustainability of the IMS network from those scientists and engineers who involve four technologies; seismic, hydroacoustic, infrasound and radionuclide monitoring.
