The terrestrial cyanobacterium Nostoc sp. HK-01 has a high tolerance to various elements related to the space environment. This strain was selected as an experimental subject for the Tanpopo mission over three years ago. According to the results, this cyanobacterium might have the interplanetary ability to be transferred and arrive at Earth. Some of the detailed results will be presented at this time.
