[MIS08-03] Bizarre “earthquake weather” immediately before and after the 1995 Kobe earthquake
Keywords:1995Kobe earthquake, Earthquake weather, Radioluminescence, Electro-optical effect
One is the radioluminescence that occurred in the atmosphere above around the epicenter due to emanation of a large amount of 222Rn from the fault, that is, the ionization of nitrogen molecules and water molecules due to the α-ray irradiation during the radon decay, which resulted in EQL, the generation of high-frequency electromagnetic waves and generation of whitish streak clouds due the cloud chamber effect of γ-rays.
Secondly, regarding the origin of the blue-purple clouds and red clouds in the sky, we propose that the Sun light was color-dispersed due to the electro-optical interaction (Pockels/Kerr effect) between the sunlight shining into the ionosphere and the ionospheric electric field.
This is probably the first time in the world that such bizarre earthquake weather has been confirmed.
