[MIS12-P01] 月のマグマ活動の期間と二分性についての再考
キーワード:月、海の火成活動、月の二分性
Unraveling the duration and spatial activity of mare volcanism on the Moon is fundamental to understand the thermal evolution of small terrestrial planets. Lunar mare basalts, which are the most common volcanic features on the Moon, cover 17% of its total surface area. We have investigated the eruption ages and volumes of mare basalts and the relationship between mare distribution and crustal thickness using geological and geophysical data obtained by the SELENE (Kaguya) and recent lunar missions. In this talk, we will review the results and discuss the thermal evolution of the Moon.
