The Shimonita town of Southwest Gunma is the town which is full of located nature. Shimonita basin is a plateau of Shinshu and a basin in during Kanto plains.It is two major special products such as "Shimonita-negi" and the konjac.
Shimonita-machi is the place that ever prospered as a course linking Edo to Shinshu.It is dotted with industrial inheritances using nature, the topography in a town.For examle,world helitage Arfune colad strage.It is one of the Japanese Geoparks that are 43 places in Japan.Typhoon Hagibis in 2019, It brought the damage such as floods in our area.The guide of the Shimonita Geopark tells the lesson of the flood in a guided tour.I discuss it about the story of the Shimonita Geopark and guide who introduce the lesson of the disaster by the main subject.
