[O07-P35] Comparison of the surface of Mars with the previous one in the approach of Mars Spread of dust storm on November 17th

*Sayaka Mizutani1, *Takumi Uchiyama1, Riho Kagami1, Aoi Takemoto1 (1.Ichinomiya High School)

Keywords:Mars, dust storm

Observations of Mars were carried out from June 26 in conjunction with the 2020 Mars semi-major approach, and with the information that a dust storm had occurred since November 11, a comparison was made between the global dust storm that occurred during the 2018 major approach and the 2020 dust storm. For the comparison, we devised an image processing method and used the difference of the development maps.
The equipment used was a CMOS camera (made by ZWO),3x Barlow lens, 20cm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, ADC (Atmospheric Dispersion Compensation System) and IRVB filter.
