[O07-P69] Analysis of visibility around Tachikawa High School

*Takumi Yasuhara1 (1.Tokyo Metropolitan Tachikawa High School)

Keywords:Meteorology, Visibility, Visibility Observations

In Tachikawa high school, we have continued weather observations including visibility for about 70years, but the number of missing data has been increasing since 1985. The visibility observation was resumed several years ago. However, because it was difficult to continue the observation on time, a senior person made an observation device for visibility by himself. In this study, the relationship between weather phenomena or air pollution and visibility was investigated by analyzing the tendency of visibility. As a result, it was found that changes in visibility were affected by weather and seasons. It was also found that the visibility in the morning is worse than in the afternoon due to the influence of forward scattering. In the future, we aim to automate visibility judgement by deep learning.
