[O07-P70] The relationship between the shape and power generation amount of the simple wind power generators
Keywords:wind power generator, hub dynamo, stable supply
Since I was interested in the relationship between the shape of the wind power generator and the generated power, I conducted three experiments using a simple wind power generator of my own making and examined the relationship between the shape of the generator and the generated power. In the first experiment, the amount of power generated at each constant wind speed was measured using the loopwing type, and the value was smaller than the ideal value as the wind speed increased. This calls for more efficient use of power. In the second experiment, a multi-wing type generator and a savonius type generator were made. The savonius type was made by reusing discarded bicycles and unused buckets. Using these data, the wind velocity at the time of maximum power generation and minimum power generation was measured, and the power generation per unit wind-receiving area was calculated. On the other hand, the multi-winged wind generator had the advantage of starting to spin in a weak wind than the savonius type generator. In the third experiment, the generated power and the wind velocity were measured on the roof of the school using the wind power generator. As a result, the problem of stable electricity supply became clear.
