Keywords:Onagawa Magnetic Field Observatory

The magnetic field observatory of Tohoku University at Onagawa Town in Miyagi Prefecture closed at the end of March in 2021with an illustrious history of over 60 years.

This observatory contributed immensely to research and education in the field of space science by providing a great deal of valuable magnetic field data over the decades of its operation.

This presentation will highlight the activities of the observatory during the past 60 years along with the scientific achievements of its research staffs.
