We propose a family of numerical solvers for the nonrelativistic Newton–Lorentz equation in particle-in-cell (PIC) simulations. In our recent contribution (Zenitani & Kato 2018), we have subsycled the Lorentz-force part of the two-step Boris solver. In this contribution, we propose to subcycle the entire acceleration part of the two-step Boris solver. We derive a single-step formula for arbitrary subcycle number n. The new solver provides a second-order accuracy, but provides n**2 times smaller error than the conventional two-step solver in the velocity space. We will evaluate key properties of the new solver such as the force-free property and the computational cost.
