[PPS05-06] Deciphering the planetary water flux from the water record expected at lunar pole

*Ko Hashizume1, Chihiro Yamanaka2, Masahiro KAYAMA3, Makiko Ohtake4 (1.Ibaraki University, 2.Osaka University, 3.The University of Tokyo, 4.The University of Aizu)

Keywords:Moon, Polar region, Water, Isotopes

By the coming Japanese exploration program for the polar region of Moon, water trapped in the regolith will be evaluated as novel space resources. The planned evaluation includes deuterium/hydrogen isotope analyses, to help estimation of the trapping mechanisms of water in the polar regolith. As well as this practical purpose, the isotope analyses also bear fundamental scientific importance, as will be introduced in this talk.
