International Union of Geological Sciences is the NGO of US Department of Treasury. The union was established on 1961 at Paris for promotion and development of geological sciences. We not only promote top level geological sciences, but also standardization of time scales of the history of the Earth. We also contribute to our society with various ways such as forenthic geology and give chances to younger generations through workshops or field courses.
