[G03-P07] An out-reach activity report on disaster resilience for high school students
One decade has passed since the Great East Japan earthquake, the understanding and awareness of disaster prevention and resilience for high school students are declining. However, the disaster risk has not decreased in Japan. Therefore, we held a symposium with the theme of “Disaster Prevention” to increase the awareness of the disaster risk and have a research interest. We introduced four topics to disaster mitigation for the high school students: earthquake, tsunami, nuclear, extreme rainfall, and climate change. In our presentation, we will introduce the detail of this activity and the feedback from the attended students.
