Since 2020, nationwide school institutions would take measures to shorten class hours, and science education including earth science, the situation is becoming even tighter where many hours tend to be insufficient. The remote education is of utmost concern there.
However, by this remote education I asked myself what is the difference from "self-study" and what is the significance of studying at educational institution such as a school. Essencially, education which is out of the home is different from learning by reading it is important to have teachers and peers in order to build their own standing position and opinions while communicating in various ways.
On the other hand, it is not onle completed by simply distributing the lesson by remote education and confirming each other's facial expressions (like a survival confirmation), but it needs make the students write something to explanate by their activities, and the teacher evaluates it.More over it would be necessary to help create learning methods and help to communicate to the world.
Specifically, I have tried to supply teaching materials based on remote lessons of earth science, the extend efficiency of teaching tools and evaluations in the accompanying short lessons, and make the presentation of students' expressions with scientific English instruction.
It is also real that science is not the only subject with limited teaching hours. In particular, we are exploring the sharing of teaching materials with the English subject as an environmental and space fields and with the physical geography dealt with in earth science.
