[G-04] Information Design in the Contents of Earth Science Education

[G04-P03] An Attempt to Construct a Virtual Earth Science Class on the Web During the COVID-19 Pandemic

COVID-19 has affected most of the educational institutions around the world. It has deprived students of opportunities in a variety of capacities, such as conducting field surveys, laboratory work, and group discussions for the purpose of learning Earth sciences. In this study, a virtual class for earth science was created on the web and individual online education was thereafter attempted. Such education provides learners with an introduction to some experiments and nature observation that can be carried out at and/or around the home. It also illustrates how to collect scientific data and analyze it.
The results of the individual education and an analysis of access from mass learners will be reported upon.
