Tetsugoro Wakimizu was born at Ogaki in 1867 and entered the University of Tokyo and graduated in 1893. He was professor of Agriculture Department of the University of Tokyo. He taught soil geology and the father of geological section of \national Parks. His posthumous book of "Landscapes viewing from the train windows of Tokaido Line" was very good introdactive book og geokogy.
