[O08-P10] River Erosion and Disaster Prevention Measures We Can Take
Keywords:Kushiro Marsh, River Erosion, Disaster Prevention
In the upper reaches of Kushiro Marsh in Hokkaido, many rivers have been straightened for agricultural land development and flood control, and the vegetation has changed from reeds and sedges to alder. Therefore, we will focus our survey on rivers and investigate the vegetation change due to urbanization in Miyagi Prefecture, using the presence or absence of alder as a reference point. We will also consider disaster prevention measures we can take for the rivers in the study area.
