Zushi Kaisei's proximity to the ocean makes it vulnerable to many disasters, including tsunamis and flooding. However, just hearing about them as stories does not give a real sense of how dangerous they are. Therefore, we decided to create a 3D map of the Zushi Kaisei area and simulate the dangers to make people aware of the dangers.
Specifically, the first step was to create a 3D map of Zushi based on the elevation of the area and the location of buildings, which were obtained from map information, and to consider evacuation routes in the event of flooding. Then, the speed of the waves is calculated and the arrival time of a tsunami in Zushi is calculated.
Based on this information, the best place to evacuate to is considered.
This research will provide good information for Zushi Kaisei students and residents of Zushi.
