[O08-P69] Land Use of Tama River Region and Its Relation to Water Quality:
Through Fieldwork and GIS Data
Keywords:Tama River, GIS DataLand Use, Land Use
I sampled the water of the Tama River at regular intervals, and I paid my attention to NH4+,TN,TP and analyzed the water quality.
I investigated the land use of the catchment area between each sampling point using GIS data (land utilization detailed mesh data). From the above, I considered the relationship between water quality and land use at each sampling point.
As a result, I found that there was a correlation between NH4+, TN, and land use.
I found that there was an overall positive correlation between NH4+ and land use.
I found that there was a particular correlation between other agricultural land, mid-to-high-rise building, low-rise building (non- densely), low-rise building (densely), road, land for facilities, etc. and park / green space.
I found that there was an overall positive correlation between TN and land use.
I found that the correlation coefficient between other agricultural land, mid-to-high-rise building, low-rise building (non- densely), low-rise building (densely), road, land for facilities, etc. and space and land use was large.
I think that by investigating the correlation between the catchment area and the water quality, it may be possible to estimate the water quality to some extent without conducting a direct water quality survey.
