[O08-P75] The Cause of Cracks on the Floor of Suwa Seiryo High School

The purpose of this study is to find out the cause of cracks on the floor of my school building. There is a level difference of about 10 mm on the floor, acrossing the aisle. I made hypotheses that it occured because of faults nearby or underground water veins. At the present stage, research methods are following: looking up maps and books, and measuring the level difference regularly. However, the measured values aren’t accurate enough. Aside from this, bumps sometimes occur on tiled ground in front of the student entrance. I have not succeeded in continuous measurement of them because they occur in different places each time after they get repaired. It is one of the research subjects to examine whether these bumps and the crack are related. It is required to devise a method to measure them more accurately.
