[G01-01] Production of digital teaching materials for disaster prevention education incorporating motion graphics.
Keywords:Society5.0, Disaster Prevention Education, Motion Graphics Animation
The concept of Society 5.0, which refers to a human-centered society that balances economic development with solutions to social issues through a highly integrated system that combines the cyber and physical worlds, has been pursued through a collaborative effort between the public and private sectors since it was adopted by the Cabinet in January 2016. In line with the plan for Society 5.0, the field of education has seen changes since the implementation of the "Act on the Partial Amendment of the School Education Law" in 2018, which allows for the use of digital textbooks in addition to printed textbooks in elementary, junior, and senior high schools. It is expected that the demand for digital educational materials will continue to increase.
In this study, we examine methods for creating dynamic digital educational materials that differ from conventional static disaster prevention materials, with the aim of maximizing the benefits of digitization. We consider embedding motion graphics animation using disaster prevention pictograms in textbooks as a means of stimulating learners' interest and enhancing their understanding, and attempt to create dynamic digital content.
