[HCG24-01] Importance of the number of organisms under the closed bio-ecosystames

*Kaori Tomita-Yokotani1 (1.Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences University of Tsukuba)

Keywords:species, density of organisms, closed bio-ecosystems

Since the birth of life, living organisms on earth have lived together for a long time, utilizing the functions of their biological interactions. Each organism basically has the optimum density for growth or survival. An artificial closed ecosystem consists of organisms selected by humans and their numbers in a limited space. In this study, we will collect existing past information or research related to the numbers and densities of each organism under the limited closed places, from microorganisms to humans, and select the important items necessary for closed ecosystems regarding the species and numbers for the future. I think that those researchs can contribute to the creation of a research field that predicts interactions between organisms, from microorganisms to humans, in artificially created environments.
