At the Tateyama Kurobe Geopark, we practiced a virtual geotour that combined video and live , so we will report on the overview. This practice became a challenge how much excitement can be conveyed in a limited amount of time.

On October 1, 2022, the “Umoregi Summit” was held in Uozu City, and the members of this Geopark formed the “Team Fossil Forest” for the symposium. The 20-minute presentation consisted of nine minutes of recorded video in the first half and an 11-minute Q&A in the second half. The Q&A was live-streamed by connecting the venue and Uozu Buried Forest Museum via Zoom, and geo guides answered the questions of the participants. This is a practice based on the image of a learning tour, for example, connecting a school and a museum. The recorded video “Fossil Forest" produced for this purpose is open to the public (Youtube; QR code).
