[MZZ43-P19] Lifestyles on the landslide area in Geopark areas

*Azusa Tonotani1 (1.Geopark Promotion office in Miyoshi city)

Keywords:Landslide area, Geopark

Japan is the convergence zone of plate tectonics, and surrounded by four plates. Several mountain ranges and mountains in Japan are formed by lifting up of oceanic sediments by plate tectonics.
Typical of atomsperic phenomena of each region closely related to geographical features of each region.
Geoparks and Geopark preparation areas are 56 areas in Japan. We can observe characteristic lifestyles relate to geological and geographical features in those areas.
Miyoshi geopark project area has landscapes such as scattered villages on the steep mountain slopes. Lands of those villages were formed by landslides, and typical of lifesyles are observed on those villages.
Lifestyle on landslide area are observed not only in Miyoshi, namely, Shimoguri area in Minami-Alps (MTL Area) Geopark and Tsukimizu ponds in Itoigawa UNESCO Global Geopark, et cetera.
In this poster, we focus and discuss about geological and geographical features and Lifestyles of steep slope lands by forming landslide.
