[O02-02] On the life of a "doctor" as a civil engineering consultant

After completing the master's course, the presenter entered a major aerial survey company in Japan. After that, he entered a doctoral program under the domestic study abroad system and obtained a degree of Ph.D. in engineering. He have been working as a civil engineering consultant in the field of construction, including geospatial information and erosion control. He also holds a managerial position (technical section manager) within the organization. He will introduce the background to obtaining a degree, acquisition of related qualifications, and how they are used at work. In addition, He will discuss the expectations of junior and senior high school students who aim to become scientists and engineers.
