[O06-P11] Predicting Local Heavy Rainfall with BS Antenna Ⅲ

*Rinka Maehara1, *Kei Yoshinaga1 (1. Kagoshima Prefectural Kinkowan High School)

Keywords:linear rain zone, disaster prediction, rain attenuation

Local downpours are difficult to predict and are measured in a variety of ways But those methods are difficult for high school students because of the high cost and skill.
In addition, it has been confirmed that the BS broadcast received by each household is disturbed when the weather is bad. BS antennas are cheap and numerous, making weather changes easy and efficient. So We thought we could help everyone evacuate.
The purpose of this research is to establish a heavy rain prediction system using the strength of BS antennas.
The decrease in the intensity of the two BS broadcasts and the amount of precipitation at the AMEDASU stations were considered together to predict the cloud flow and precipitation in Satsuma.
