[SEM14-P09] 3-D joint inversion of the AMT and ACTIVE datasets obtained in Aso volcano
Keywords:volcano, Aso, resistivity, controlled-source
We recently developed a joint inversion code for AMT data and data acquired by the controlled-source electromagnetic monitoring system called ACTIVE (Utada et al. 2007). We applied the inversion method to the real ACTIVE and AMT data obtained in Aso volcano. The results showed that the two types of datasets in Aso volcano have a tendency to demand different resistivity structures and it was difficult to reduce both RMSs simultaneously; the AMT data (Kanda et al. 2008) requires relatively conductive structures, while the ACTIVE data (Minami et al. 2018) does resistive ones. One possible approach to overcome this situation may be introduction of static shift parameters for the part of AMT inversion, which is possibly in turn determined by the ACTIVE datasets. In the presentation, we report the details of our joint inversion method and progress in the 3-D joint inversion of the AMT and ACTIVE datasets in Aso volcano.
