Currently, each local government is creating hazard maps, distributing printed materials, and making them available on the Internet. We investigated five types of existing hazard maps from the perspective of universal design, and found that the existing hazard maps do not give sufficient consideration to universal design. We presented the results at the 2023 conference. This presentation will present an improvement plan that replaces the color scheme of existing hazard maps with universal colors based on the results of 2023. At the same time, we will clarify points to keep in mind when implementing universal design.
