[G03-P02] Promoting Disaster Preparedness Education through VR-Enabled Virtual Exhibition Experiences
Keywords:Disaster prevention education, Immersive Simulations, Virtual Reality (VR), Emergency Response, Dign Design
This study investigates the impact of educational activities through virtual exhibitions in VR spaces, where students can virtually experience the signs encountered at evacuation sites during disasters. By boosting students' motivation to create, it aims to foster a sustained interest in disaster preparedness. Analyzing how exhibitions utilizing digital media influence students' learning outcomes enables the provision of practical experiences and feedback opportunities. Moreover, mimicking real-life experiences is expected to enhance the application of this method in promoting disaster education. Through this experience, students are anticipated to learn disaster response and prevention measures in a new, practical, and sensory manner. This approach is believed to deepen students' understanding of disaster preparedness, thereby strengthening their readiness for real-world disasters.
