As a city-run museum, we have been conducting research and research since our opening as a `` Community Museum'' that is rooted in the community. We investigated the impact of the earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024 on Itoigawa City. It is one of the strengths of the Community Museum that it was able to quickly survey the traces of the earthquake and tsunami in Itoigawa City. We will continue to conduct research and disseminate information as a museum rooted in the community.
