Everyone loves Senko-hanabi. In the past, Torahiko Terada and Ukichiro Nakaya were fascinated by the fragile beauty. Is it surprising to hear that the cascading spark patterns are drawn by droplets? In this talk, I will answer mysteries ever since the Edo period, revealed by the detailed observation results of droplet dynamics combined with thermo-fluidic and statistical analyses.
