[G02-02] A Study on Enhancing the Visibility of Disaster Signage in Public Facilities: Design Utilizing VR Simulation
Keywords:Disaster Prevention Sign, Disaster Risk Communication, Disaster Information Transmission, pictogram
This study aims to examine the appropriate design of disaster signage in public facilities by utilizing VR simulation to enhance its visibility and comprehensibility. The design of highly visible disaster signage is essential for ensuring swift and accurate evacuation guidance during emergencies. Since visibility assessments in real-world environments have inherent limitations, this study employs a VR environment to evaluate the visibility and comprehensibility of signage under various conditions and settings.
The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the optimization of disaster signage, facilitating smoother evacuation processes and improving disaster risk communication.
