Point Cloud PNG is a file format for publishing and utilizing data groups with two-dimensional or three-dimensional positional information via the Internet. In order to handle the large amounts of point cloud data that have been increasingly released in recent years, we believe it would be effective to use point cloud PNGs divided into map tiles (Point Cloud PNG Tiles), a method used for Chiriin tiles, etc., and have therefore developed and released the Point Cloud PNG Tiles Maker, Point Cloud PNG Tiles Viewer, and Point Cloud Downloader.
