[O11-P30] Estimation of Paleoenvironment at Kabushi Beach, Echizen, Fukui Prefecture, Japan

*Hisahumi Miyamoto1 (1.Fukui Prefectual Fujishima High School)

Keywords:Nishitani rhyolite, Kaburaki Fault

This paper describes the rocks and geological structures found in an outcrop at Kabushi Beach in Takasa, Echizen-cho, Fukui Prefecture, Japan. The outcrop at Kabushi Beach is composed of Nishitani rhyolite and weathered fused tuff with various lithological facies. The outcrops are composed of Nishitani rhyolite and weathering-modified fused tuff, with a variety of lithologic facies. The two faults are intersected by each other, and the Kaburaki Fault is the newer of the two.
