[2F06] Study of the influences of fine particles on thermal property of heavy crude oil by using TG-DTA analysis
The thermal recovery of heavy crude oils is a production method by reducing viscosity of crude oil by transferring heat to an oil reservoir matrix. In the process, fine particles separating from rocks or sand grains are expected to be included and dispersed in the crude oil. In this study, the effects of several kinds of fine particles in a crude oil on oil properties have been investigated by the thermogravimeter-differential thermal analyzer(TG-DTA).
