[A06] Development of dual-atom catalyst for hydrogenation of carbon dioxide to methanol
Keywords:CO2 hydrogenation, Oxide catalyst, Dual-atom
In the hydrogenation of CO2 to methanol over mixed oxide catalysts, strong adsorption of CO2 and formate is a barrier to H2 dissociation. In this study, we synthesized a Co-In doped ZrO2 catalyst (Co-In-ZrO2) containing atomically dispersed Co and In to suppress the poisoning effect. In this catalyst, the Co site was responsible for the adsorption of CO2 and formate, while the adjacent In atom promoted the hydrogenation of the adsorbed intermediate to methanol by dissociating H2.
